Rapper Starlito Surrenders To Police In Nashville Shooting

Rapper Starlito was arrested Thursday after he was accused of being involved in a shooting at a Nashville restaurant, News Channel 5 reports. Witnesses and store employees say rapper was involved.

Starlito, whose real name is Jermaine Shute, 32, is facing aggravated assault and gun possession.The shooting occurred after 36-year-old James Fletcher was shot in the left thigh at Batter’d & Fried restaurant on the City’s East Side, the Tennessean reports.Prior to the shooting, Fletcher walked into the restaurant and punched one of two men he had words with.

Fletcher was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but wasn’t cooperating with detectives.
