Jalen Rose SETS RECORD STRAIGHT On Lavar Ball Situation With His Wife Molly Qerim

Following the news that LaVar Ball had been banned from all ESPN programming after it was assumed that he made a sexual comment to First Take host Molly Qerim, many people have been left to wonder what Qerim’s husband and fellow ESPN analyst Jalen Rose’s position is on the highly debated subject.

Now after allowing the dust to settle, Rose has decided to address the issue by emphasizing that nobody can tell his wife how she should feel, adding that “if she felt some type of way about it in the moment, who are we to judge?”

From there, he described himself as a ride-or-die husband whose priority is to always support his wife, though he added that he has reached out to Ball yet hasn’t been able to have a conversation. With that said, he also categorically dismissed the idea that Qerim was being racist, noting that “Y’all know she’s married to a black husband, right?… She’s been doing this for 15 years. She knows how to navigate. She knows how to take care of herself.”

Additionally, however, he also said that he doesn’t actually believe that Ball will be banned after all, keeping in mind how his son LaMelo will be a potential #1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.
