3 Sonic Employees Arrested for Allegedly Lacing Food With Ecstasy

According to reports, three Sonic Drive-In employees in Texas were arrested after an 11-year-old girl reportedly found an ecstasy pill in her younger brother’s kids meal.

A police chief named Henry Fluck issued a statement and said the young girl discovered the pill in the food after unwrapping her little brother’s food. Fluck said, “Being an 11-year-old, she asked her parents if [the pill] is candy.”

After the 11-year-old and her parents found the pill, they immediately went to the police where a test was conducted on the substance. It found to be MDMA, also known as ecstasy. Sonic manager Tanisha Dancer and two other employees were arrested as a result. Dancer was charged with endangering a child and delivering a controlled substance. She is being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $37,500 bond along with a $2,500 for an unrelated larceny charge.
